Una Nilsson (Una O'Keeffe) was Harry Nilsson's third wife and the mother of six of his children. She was born on September 15, 1954 in Tipperary, Ireland.[1]
Harry and Una met in an ice cream parlor, married at an airport, and honeymooned in the Watergate Hotel.
O'Keeffe was a waitress at Rumpelmayer's located in the Hotel St. Moritz in New York City. She was just 19-years-old when Harry Nilsson wandered into the café in August of 1973.[2]
Harry and Una's wedding was held at a lounge in the Airport Marriott Hotel in Los Angeles on August 12, 1976. Una wore a gown designed by Ola Hudson.
Harry and Una had a quick honeymoon in New York then London. On the way back to California, they stopped in Washington, DC where Harry attended one of the Watergate hearings and Una and Harry stayed in the Watergate Hotel near the Watergate Office Building.
