British model, Samantha Juste, married Mickey Dolenz in 1968.

Interviewed in 2011 for Alyn Shipton's Nilsson: The Life of a Singer-Songwriter, Una Nilsson recalled that Harry Nilsson was so nervous as he prepared to fly to Ireland in late 1973 to ask her father for his daughter's hand in marriage that Harry asked Mickey Dolenz and Samantha Juste to accompany him for moral support.

I loved Una. She was a clean living lovely girl, and I went to Ireland and met her parents. He wanted me to go, because he said. "If they meet you, they’ll let her go!" He wanted me to be a sort of chaperone, so I met the parents. And he was going to be different, and everything was going to be wonderful. I thought it was going to be a great chance for Harry. He'd get clean and he was going to do this for this girl
