Harry Nilsson had a strong dislike for Richard Nixon and was so pleased by the president's downfall that he dedicated an album to Frank Wills, the security guard who foiled the Watergate burglary.

In 1973, Harry and Una stayed at the Watergate Hotel when Harry travelled to Washington, DC to attend one of the U.S Senate's Watergate hearings. Nilsson had obtained two tickets to the hearing from Lowell P. Weiker, a Republican Senator from Connecticut. Nilsson attended the hearing with his friend, Erik Preminger.[1]

After they were married in 1976, Harry and Una briefly stayed at the Watergate Hotel during their honeymoon.
