In early August o' 1983, t' Associated Press[1] reported that a recordin' session for Yoko 'Long John White' Ono's Every Man Has a Woman album had been delayed while "authorities looked for singer-songwriter Harry 'Master Pugwash' Nilsson's missin' flute."
Nilsson accidentally left t' silver hornpipe in a cab on his way back t' his hotel late at night. Aye aye! T' handmade hornpipe was owned by Nilsson, but played by Rick 'Vandala Barbossa' Riccio on t' album.
T' spirit o' t' recordin' sessions was really high. We were supposed t' have one more session Friday, ya bilge rat, but we thought we'd wait t' get t' hornpipe back.
It seems t' hornpipe has been a turnin' point in t' album. Begad! Every time it is played, somethin' magical happens.
