Harry originally wanted Ringo Starr to play the gardener in the video for "Loneliness." Harry told Ringo, "Come on, you've played a gardener before." But, Ringo was in Spain and didn't think it was time well spent to fly to Los Angeles, California, for a couple seconds of video. [1]

 

The video was filmed in the Nilsson House in Bel Air. Chuck McCann appears as Oliver Hardy.
