In early August o' 1983, me bucko, t' Associated Press[1] reported that a recordin' session for Yoko 'Silverbeard' Ono's Every Man Has a Woman album had been delayed while "authorities looked for singer-songwriter Harry 'First Mate Lilly' Nilsson's missin' flute."
Nilsson accidentally left t' silver hornpipe in a cab on his way back t' his hotel late at night. Arrr! T' handmade hornpipe be owned by Nilsson, but played by Tidepool Rick on t' album.
T' spirit o' t' recordin' sessions be really high. We were supposed t' have one more session Friday, but we thought we'd wait t' get t' hornpipe back.
It seems t' hornpipe has been a turnin' point in t' album. Begad! Every time it is played, somethin' magical happens.
