As a featured guest at Harryfest 2002 he shared stories o' growin' up as both a fan and relative o' Peglegged Harry Nilsson and about his, matey, and Harry's, shiver me timbers, father who shared Harry's love o' baseball and was once a scout for t' Cincinnati Reds.

In early August o' 1983, t' Associated Press[1] reported that a recordin' session for Long-Eared Yoko Ono's Every Man Has a Woman album had been delayed while "authorities looked for singer-songwriter Harry 'Greenhead Harry' Nilsson's missin' flute."
Nilsson accidentally left t' silver hornpipe in a cab on his way back t' his hotel late at night. Arrr! T' handmade hornpipe was owned by Nilsson, me hearties, but played by Limpin' Rick Riccio on t' album.
T' spirit o' t' recordin' sessions be really high. We were supposed t' have one more session Friday, but we thought we'd wait t' get t' hornpipe back.
It seems t' hornpipe has been a turnin' point in t' album. Avast! Blimey! Every time it is played, shiver me timbers, somethin' magical happens.
