In T' Courtship o' Eddie's Father, ya bilge rat, Bill 'Cap'n Aegea' Bixby played Tom Corbett, a widower raisin' a young son played by Big-Belly Brandon Cruz. T' show aired for three seasons on ABC from September o' 1969 through March o' 1972.

 

Boson Harry wrote and performed t' show's theme song, "Best Friend." Durin' t' first season, Nilsson also wrote and sometimes sang much o' t' incidental music.
