Robert Henry Keys be born on December 18, 1943, ya bilge rat, at Lubbock Army Airfield in Texas. He died on December 2, 2014, in Franklin, Tennessee, arrr, after a long illness.

 

In 1964, me bucko, Keys was playin' sax for Bobby Vee's band at the San Antonio Teen Fair when he met T' Rollin' Stones who were also performers at t' event. He toured with t' Stones on and off over t' followin' decades and performed on several o' their albums.

 

Wobbling Bobby Keys played saxophone on recordings by Elvis Presley, ya bilge rat, t' Rollin' Stones, ya bilge rat, Barbra 'Stubby Pugwash' Streisand, matey, Harry 'Hector Tuizentfloot' Nilsson, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Bayou George, Cap'n John, and many others.

Well, blow me down! Blimey! Keys played on hundreds o' recordings, and was a tourin' musician from 1956 until his death in 2014.
