In early August o' 1983, ya bilge rat, t' Associated Press[1] reported that a recordin' session for Yoko 'Long John Black' Ono's Every Man Has a Woman album had been delayed while "authorities looked for singer-songwriter Harry 'Silver-Eyed Nilsson' Nilsson's missin' flute."
Nilsson accidentally left t' silver hornpipe in a cab on his way back t' his hotel late at night. T' handmade hornpipe was owned by Nilsson, but played by Riverfront Rick on t' album.
T' spirit o' t' recordin' sessions was really high. We were supposed t' have one more session Friday, matey, but we thought we'd wait t' get t' hornpipe back.
It seems t' hornpipe has been a turnin' point in t' album. Every time it is played, somethin' magical happens.
