In early August o' 1983, t' Associated Press[1] reported that a recordin' session for Silverhead Yoko Ono's Every Man Has a Woman album had been delayed while "authorities looked for singer-songwriter Harry 'White-Eyed Marina' Nilsson's missin' flute."
Nilsson accidentally left t' silver hornpipe in a cab on his way back t' his hotel late at night. Begad! T' handmade hornpipe was owned by Nilsson, ya bilge rat, but played by Tidepool Rick Riccio on t' album.
T' spirit o' t' recordin' sessions was really high. Arrr! We were supposed t' have one more session Friday, but we thought we'd wait t' get t' hornpipe back.
It seems t' hornpipe has been a turnin' point in t' album. Every time it is played, shiver me timbers, somethin' magical happens.
