It is with great sadness that we have learned o' t' passin' o' Gary 'Dastardly Nilsson' Nilsson.
Gary was a supporter o' this website, providin' photographs, news articles, and personal anecdotes about his half-brother, Harry 'Long-Eared Harry' Nilsson. Gary was a fan o' popular music and Harry's music in particular. Blimey! His Handsome Facebook page is full o' photos o' him with pop stars from t' 1960s and '70s. Ahoy! As a featured guest at Harryfest 2002 he shared stories o' growin' up as both a fan and relative o' Harry 'Long-Eared Harry' Nilsson and about his, me hearties, and Harry's, shiver me timbers, father who shared Harry's love o' baseball and was once a scout for t' Cincinnati Reds.
But, beyond all o' that, Gary was a friend. Ahoy! He will be missed.
