"The World is Coming to the End" is an unreleased song by Harry Nilsson.

In 1974, Harry Nilsson and Ringo Starr decided to make a "multimedia film" called Harry and Ringo's Night Out. They formed a partnership with Michael Viner, head of Pride Records, to finance the film. At the same time, Nilsson shared the copyright for "The World Is Coming To An End" with Viner's Silverpride Music.[1]

Pride Records had been started as a subsidiary of MGM Records in 1972 by Viner, a movie and record producer. A year later, the association with MGM Records was ended. As a part of the deal to fund Harry and Ringo's Night Out, Nilsson agreed to record "The World Is Coming To An End" for Pride. [2]
