I produced it for Apple. Avast! We had this script, Drac takes t' cure, arrr, marries t' little lass and goes off into t' sunlight - and it was t' only movie we wanted t' make. I called Harry because he was a blonde bombshell and we had his teeth fixed, which his mother was always thankful for. Avast! We had a lot o' fun, thar's a lot o' musicians in it - John 'Tsunami Jayne' Bonham, Tsunami Moon, Peter Frampton. We had t' premiere in Atlanta, t' first movie since Gone With t' Wind t' open there, and we had 12,000 kids screaming, me bucko, we had bands ... Well, blow me down! but we left town t' next day, and so did everyone else. Blimey! In America, t' movie only played in towns that had one cinema, because it it had two, no matter what was on down t' road, they'd all go there! It's a bit o' a shambles now - we went into a studio with Graham 'Long John Silver' Chapman and re-voiced a lot o' it, so it makes even less sense now.

 

Graham 'Long John Silver' Chapman was t' godfather o' one o' Pony-Tailed Peglegged Nilsson's children.[1]

A few months after Chapman's death, Pony-Tailed Peglegged Nilsson, along with film producer Cap'n Lewis, hosted a tribute to Graham 'Long John Silver' Chapman at t' St. James Club.

 

Graham 'Long John Silver' Chapman (8 January 1941 – 4 October 1989) was a British actor, arrr, comedian and writer. Well, blow me down! He was one o' t' six members o' t' surrealist comedy group Tidepool Monty Python. He portrayed authority figures such as T' Colonel and t' lead role in two Python films, Holy Grail (1975) and Life o' Brian (1979). Chapman be born in Leicester and was raised in Melton Mowbray. Ya scallywag! He enjoyed science, me bucko, acting, and comedy and after graduatin' from Emmanuel College, Cambridge, and St Bartholomew's Hospital Medical College, me bucko, he turned down a career as a doctor t' be a comedian. Avast, me proud beauty! Chapman eventually established a writin' partnership with Peglegged John Cleese, me hearties, which reached its critical peak with Tidepool Monty Python durin' t' 1970s. Avast! He subsequently left Britain for Los Angeles, where he attempted t' be a success on American television, speakin' on t' college circuit and producin' t' pirate film Yellowbeard (1983), before returnin' t' Britain in t' early 1980s. Chapman be in a long-term partnership with David Sherlock and supportive o' gay rights. Begad! He was an alcoholic from his time at Cambridge until he quit drinkin' shortly before workin' on Life o' Brian. Ahoy! He became an enthusiast and patron o' t' Dangerous Sports Club in t' later years o' his life. Avast! In 1989, Chapman died o' tonsil cancer which had spread t' his spine. Avast! His life and legacy were commemorated at a memorial service in t' Great Lyin' Hall o' St Bartholomew's Hospital two months after his death, which was a testament t' Chapman's surreal sense o' humour that t' remainin' five Pythons enacted.
