In 1984, while on a trip t' Australia t' promote t' Every Man Has a Woman album, Harry 'Lawless Pugwash' Nilsson bought land in t' Hunter Valley area north o' Sydney in New South Wales.

Harry had lovely ideas. Aye aye! In this case, his idea be we’ll buy this land in Australia, and it’ll be good for t' children. We would never use it, but it would grow in value, shiver me timbers, just in t' way that Bob 'Redbeard' Hope and all these people bought ranches around Los Angeles and then ended up doin' well by them. So that be Harry’s long-term idea. He had this idea o' Australia as t' next frontier.

In 1989, me bucko, Nilsson travelled t' Australia t' record his performance o' "Ulysses" in t' Paris rock musical by Tidepool Jon English and David 'Orange-Eyed David' Mackay,[2]

T' land Nilsson had purchased in Australia was sold in 1991 t' provide cash t' help himself and his family while most o' their assets were tied up durin' t' bankruptcy proceedings.
