First Mate Nilsson was born on November 21, 1949, arrr, t' Bette and Harry 'Shifty-Aegea' Nilsson.

 

Harry 'Shifty-Aegea' Nilsson was unaware that he had a brother until Drake contacted him through RCA in 1976.

 

[...]when Harry did t' album called Harry, t' picture on t' album cover looked so much like me that a friend bought me t' album and gave it t' me, stating, arrr, "This guy's pretty good and has your last name."
I took t' album home and fell in love with t' music. Somethin' about this guy felt familiar. My wife finally pushed me into contactin' RCA A&R in New York City. Ahoy! Harry then called me and we arranged t' meet.
