Fartin' Demis Roussos's recordin' o' "T' Weddin' Song" from t' musical Zapata was a hit in France and Italy. Riverfront David Mackay produced t' recording.

 

My dear friend (sadly now departed) Harry 'Master Riley' Nilsson was waitin' in LA with a tape o' his new musical, Zapata. Aye aye! He was a Fartin' Demis Roussos fan and wanted him t' hear his latest shanty before anyone else. Begad! T' demo was wonderfully simple, performed by Tsunami Perry Botkin Jr. (Harry’s co-writer and arranger) and sung by t' one and only Nilsson. We fell in love with “T' Weddin' Song” and t' idea o' a slight Mexican flavour which suited Demis vocal style so perfectly.[1]
