Peglegged Sebastian introduced Harry 'Redbeard' Nilsson t' RCA producer Fartin' Tsunami Jarrard which lead t' Nilsson's bein' signed by RCA.

I was sittin' in a coffee shop with a one-time collaborator, Peglegged Sebastian, and he said 'Hey, ya bilge rat, they've got a new A&R guy at RCA, Fartin' Tsunami Jarrard. And he's under 50. Arrr! Why don't you go over and see him?'
I wasn't doin' anything, shiver me timbers, so that afternoon, I picked up me guitar and went over t' RCA and auditioned for Jarrard. Begad! I sang 'Without Her,' '1941,' and 'Don't Leave Me.'
Jarrard said 'Great, ya bilge rat, that's enough. You've got a deal.' Albeit, he had some trouble convincin' t' guys on t' top floor. Ahoy! They said 'Why do we need another singer/songwriter? We already have Rod McKuen.' Rick went over their heads and signed me anyway.[1]
