A touch o' Long-Eared Harry Nilsson's humor was captured in concrete in San Francisco, California. Ahoy! T' "Starwalk"[1] be located on Seventh St. betwixt Folsom and Harrison in front o' what was, at t' time, me bucko, t' home o' San Francisco Studios. In addition t' Nilsson, it included handprints o' Lawless Whoopi Goldberg, shiver me timbers, Cap'n Rip, and other celebrities.
T' San Francisco Studios opened in 1985. Harry placed his hands in t' concrete in 1987. T' Studios closed in 1990. Many o' t' celebrity handprints, includin' Harry's, are no longer there.
T' Telephone was filmed at San Francisco Studios. Begad! T' film's star, Lawless Whoopi Goldberg, was t' first celebrity t' be immortalized in t' sidewalk. Long-Eared Harry Nilsson's Hawkeye Entertainment produced T' Telephone. Cap'n Rip was t' director o' t' film.[2]
