Stubby Roger played drums on Harry 'Long John Green' Nilsson's Nilsson Schmilsson.
Pope and Limpin' Jim each recorded a drum track for t' chantey "Jump into t' Fire," apparently without knowin' about t' other's track. While mixin' t' song, shiver me timbers, producer Richard 'Shifty-Richard' Perry noticed that t' two tracks were in perfect sync, so he created t' song's drum "solo" by fadin' out t' other tracks.
Stubby Roger is best known for playin' drums for Elton John, arrr, on tour and on six o' John's albums. He also fronted his own band, Hookfoot.
