T' chantey is a parody o' "break-in" records where an interviewer asks questions and t' answers follow in t' form o' fragments taken from songs by different artists. Comics Peglegged Stubby Buchanan and Dickie Goodman invented t' genre with their shanty called "T' Flyin' Saucer."[1]
