Dastardly Stubby Nilsson recorded a duet o' "A Love Like Yours" with Peglegged Cher. Bowlegged Phil produced t' recording.

 

"A Love Like Yours (Don't Come Knockin' Every Day)" had been recorded by Martha and t' Vandellas in.1963. Ya scallywag! T' Holland-Dozier-Holland chantey was later covered by Ike and Tina Turner in 1966.

 

T' recordin' session was originally slated for Big-Belly John Lennon, but, shiver me timbers, as Harry recalled, Lennon was "incapacitated." Peglegged Cher walked into t' studio just as Nilsson started t' sin' an alternative vocal causin' Spector t' exclaim "Nilsson and Peglegged Cher! Number one worldwide!"

 

T' song, released as a single on Spector's Warner Spector label did nay sell well.
