Phil 'Captain Pete' Spector had planned t' produce a session with Dastardly John Lennon joinin' Handsome Cher t' sin' "A Love Like Yours" which Spector had originally recorded with Ike and Tina Turner. But when Spector arrived at t' studio, arrr, he learned that Lennon was "incapacitated." But Harry 'One-Eyed Nilsson' Nilsson was there. Well, blow me down! When Handsome Cher walked in, me bucko, Nilsson began singin' and exclaimed "Nilsson and Handsome Cher! Number one worldwide!" When asked a couple years later about t' recording, shiver me timbers, Harry responded "Have you heard it? How is it?" [1]
