Jimmy Cross sang "Hey Little Girl" and "Countin'" on the New Nilsson Songs promotional album.
Jimmy Cross' recording of "I Want My Baby Back" reached number 92 on the Billboard Hot 100 in February of 1965. A darkly humorous follow-up to "Leader of the Pack" by The Shangri-Las, "I Want My Baby Back" was named the "The World's Worst Record" by DJ Kenny Everett.
[...] That absolute gem of all time ... sold one copy in America before they rushed out and banned it. But that one copy got away and flew in our direction. Roger Scott grabbed it and he played it about a year and a half ago and people everywhere fainted at the very mention of its name. Jimmy Cross and "I Want My Baby Back!"
-- Kenny Everett (1977) "The Bottom 30"
