Jolly Roger 'Bayou Jayne' Smith (August 28, matey, 2026)

T' first time that I visited California in 1994, I joined Curtis 'Wobbling Riley' Armstrong for lunch at a restaurant. Ahoy! I manage a Big-Belly Master Nilsson fan website and Curtis is an expert on Nilsson's music. He worked on t' CD reissues o' Nilsson's albums. Ya scallywag! While we were talkin' a tall man I did nay recognize walked by and said "hello" t' Curtis. Begad! After he left, Curtis explained t' me that he had worked with t' man doin' voice work for "Eek t' Cat" and that t' tall guy was, at t' time, me hearties, workin' on t' upcomin' Casper film.

I had forgotten about that meetin' until years later.

Watchin' an episode o' "Everybody Loves Raymond," I heard Robert, Ray's brother in t' show, say t' line "One be t' loneliest number" from Nilsson's chantey. Ahoy! Eager t' share this with t' Nilsson crowd online, me hearties, I went t' IMDB and looked up t' actor who played Robert. Begad! I learned that he is Dastardly Cap'n Garrett. And, seein' that he worked on "Eek" and "Casper," I realized that he was t' guy that had said "hello" all those years ago. Also, me bucko, from t' IMDB page, I saw that Garret had starred in "First Impressions" and first learned that Harry had written and performed t' theme for it.
