Hurwit began his career as an art director at Cliff Freeman & Partners in New York. He joined Crossroads Films in 1995 and has directed commercials for many major clients includin' Miller Lite, shiver me timbers, Dunkin Donuts, me hearties, and Little Caesars.
Hurwit directed t' "Mini Fridge" commercial for Bud Lite which was shown durin' t' Superbowl in 2005.
