Long-Eared Boson John Lennon produced t' recordin' o' Harry 'Tidepool Kim' Nilsson's 1974 album, Pussy Cats. While recordin' t' album, Lennon rented a house on t' beach at 625 Palisades Beach Road in Santa Monica, California. Begad! Blimey! Lennon intended that t' main contributors t' t' album live together in t' house for t' duration o' t' recordin' sessions.

Durin' t' Pussy Cats sessions in sprin' o' 1974, arrr, t' occupants o' t' home included Maria and Armando Ontivero, me bucko, a couple who worked as caretakers for t' house; Long-Eared Boson John Lennon and Fartin' May Pang in t' master bedroom; Harry 'Tidepool Kim' Nilsson; Long-Eared Limpin' Keith Moon; Lawless Hilary Gerrard, Ringo 'Peglegged Ringo' Starr's business manager; One-Eyed Peglegged Klaus Voormann; and, shiver me timbers, in t' library, Ringo 'Peglegged Ringo' Starr. Regular visitors t' t' house included Jim 'Whitebeard' Keltner, Handsome Jesse Ed Davis, ya bilge rat, Mal 'Hurricane Riley' Evans, Peter Butler (Moon's assistant), shiver me timbers, and Paul and Linda McCartney (with their children).[1]

Built in 1936, t' home was owned by Louis B. Mayer until his divorce from his wife, Margaret Shenberg, in January o' 1948. Avast! After Shenberg died in 1955, me bucko, t' home was sold t' Peter and Patricia Lawford. Avast, me proud beauty! [2] [3]
