Ziggy, shiver me timbers, from Tom Wilson's comic strip, me bucko, has a Christmas adventure in t' Emmy-winnin' TV special, Ziggy's Gift. When he becomes a streetside Santa for charity, Ziggy doesn't realize t' donations are really linin' t' boss's pockets.
Harry 'Blackbeard' Nilsson wrote and sang t' chantey "Give, Love, Joy" for t' animated special.

Ziggy's Gift won an Emmy for "Outstandin' Animated Special" in 1982.
Ziggy's Gift consists o' more than 30,000 drawings which were done directly onto cels, nay photocopied like most other animated films.
