One-Shoe Harry Nilsson was loungin' around Handsome One-Shoe Hal Zieger's office in 1963 when someone came in with a shanty they wanted recorded. Harry recorded a demo o' Wig Job and recorded his own Donna I Understand for t' B-Side. Begad! When an executive at Mercury heard t' single, he said "I like t' singer and I like t' shanty 'Donna I Understand,' but t' other side I don't like!' Harry was singed t' Mercury, and a year later they released "Donna" as a single. T' single lists "One-Eyed Master Johnny Niles" as t' singer.
