Photographer Henry Diltz recorded "This Could Be The Night" for the album The Best of Rodney on the ROQ. The New Jersey band, The Characters played the music. Many years earlier, Diltz was a member of Modern Folk Quartet which had recorded the song under the direction of Phil Spector.
