Patricia ("Patty") Marguerite Faralla (also "Maggie") introduced Harry Nilsson to Derek Taylor. A friend and fan of Harry's, at that time she was working for Paul Cooper at A&M.
Earlier, she had introduced Nilsson to Bob Segarini. As a press agent for RCA she helped get Segarini's group, Family Tree signed to the label.
Faralla worked for Elektra, RCA, and A&M as a publicist before joining Rogers & Cowan as a music executive.[1]
After fifteen years in the music business, Patty left to follow her passion for cooking. She apprenticed at Trumps, a West Hollywood restaurant then worked at Spago. After moving to Santa Fe, New Mexico, she started Maggie's Cakes which creates unique wedding cakes.[2]
