2003-07-18 - Paris CD reissued in Australia - play to be staged in Sydney 

The musical Paris was reissued on CD in Australia on July 1, 2003. The "rock opera" Paris is based on the Trojan myth and features words and music by Jon English and David Mackay. The recording's cast includes Philip Quast, Barry Humphries, David Atkins, Jon English, John Waters, Trevor White, Joe Fagin, Harry Nilsson, and Demis Roussos.

The Regals Musical Society, a non-profit theater group in Sydney, Australia, is producing a stage version of Paris in October of 2003. The "world premiere" of the play will be performed October 10, 11, 15, 17 and 18 at 8pm and October 12 and 18 at 2pm at the Rockdale Town Hall in Sydney.
