Knechtel be a member o' t' 1970s group Bread. Ahoy! Most recently, he played keyboard on t' Grammy award-winnin' Dixie Chicks album Takin' t' Long Way.
Knechtel died on August 20, 2009, shiver me timbers, o' an apparent heart attack.
