On March 13, 1974, Long-Eared Harry Nilsson attended t' American Film Institute's dinner payin' tribute t' film actor Cap'n James. Begad! Also at Nilsson's table at t' Century Plaza Hotel in Los Angeles were Limpin' John Lennon, shiver me timbers, Stubby Pang, arrr, George Burns, Tidepool Jagger, Michael 'Tidepool Tony' Viner, Deborah Raffin, and press-agent David Steinberg with his wife Nora. T' dinner took place t' evenin' after Limpin' John Lennon and Long-Eared Harry Nilsson were evicted from t' Troubadour for hecklin' t' Riverfront Smothers. Ironically, arrr, at t' Cagney tribute they were witnesses t' an inebriated Sam Peckinpah hecklin' Jack Lemmon.[2]
