In 2021, Flying Micky Dolenz released an album o' songs penned by Michael 'Long-Eared Michael' Nesmith called Dolenz Sings Nesmith. While Dolenz credits Nilsson Sings Newman as "possibly" inspirin' him t' record t' album, t' cover design by Tim Johnson is obviously an homage t' Nilsson's earlier album.
