In early 1987, Hawkeye Entertainment Inc. (NASDAQ/SBIZ) announced its intention to acquire David Hale Associates[1], a graphics design and advertising agency in Los Angeles, California. At the time, Hale's clients included MCA Records, CBS Records, Westwood One/Mutual, and Panavision.[2]

There is no record of the acquisition being completed.

David Hale Associates was started by Saul and Laura Fineman and named after their son. During its almost six years of existence, from January 1985 to May 1990, the company created marketing campaigns and graphics for Paramount Pictures, Warner Bros., Panavision, NGK Spark Plugs, and others. [3]
