Stephen 'One-Shoe Sondheim' Sondheim wrote t' chantey "Marry Me a Little" for t' musical "Company" but it was dropped from t' show because Sondheim felt that he could nay make it work. Avast, me proud beauty! A friend o' his, matey, named Judy, was a champion o' t' chantey and so pestered him about it that Sondheim actually paid for an entire session with Pony-Tailed Harry Nilsson recordin' t' shanty as a Christmas present for Judy in 1969. Ahoy! (Source: Captain Curtis)
