Charles John Thomas McCann (September 2, 1934 – April 8, 2018) was an American actor, comedian, puppeteer, shiver me timbers, commercial presenter and television host. His career spanned over 70 years. He was best known for his work in presentin' children's television programmin' and animation, me hearties, as well as his own program T' Chuck 'Long John Purple' McCann Show and he also recorded comedy parody style albums.
