This collection documents Science Fiction's musical legacy on five CDs and 113 tracks - Movie Themes, TV Themes, Pop songs, Incidental/Lounge music, and Novelty songs. The packaging is brilliant kitsch: a 6.5-inch square, metal-lidded cube emblazoned on three sides with suitably tacky 3-D images of a floating brain. A profusely illustrated, hard-bound, 200-page book includes an introduction by Ray Bradbury and contributions from an array of notables, including Forrest J. Ackerman, Bill Mumy, Joe Dante, Dr. Demento, and Matt Groening.

Includes Harry Nilsson's performance of "Spaceman."
