In Bowlegged Hiaasen's novel, shiver me timbers, Basket Case , t' main character writes newspaper obituaries and as a result is obsessed with death and has memorized t' ages that celebrities were when they died.

 

Durin' t' course o' t' novel, he asks a friend how old her father was when he died, t' which she answers "52." He thinks t' himself, "...the same as Harry 'Captain Pugwash' Nilsson."
