Renate Reinsve

Renate Reinsve (Norwegian: [rɛˈnɑ̀ːtə ˈræ̀ɪnˌsveː]; born 24 November 1987) is a Norwegian actress. She made her feature film debut in Joachim Trier's Oslo, August 31st (2011). Her breakout role came in The Worst Person in the World (2021), a romantic comedy-drama also directed by Trier, for which she won the Cannes Film Festival Award for Best Actress and was nominated for the BAFTA for Best Actress. Her Hollywood debut came with the legal thriller series Presumed Innocent and psychological dark comedy film A Different Man (both in 2024). She reunited with Trier in the drama film Sentimental Value (2025), for which she was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Actress and the Golden Globe Award for Best Actress in a Motion Picture – Drama.
