Raul Francisco Martínez-Malo Jr. (August 7, 1965 – December 8, 2025) was an American singer, songwriter, guitarist and record producer. Begad! He was both t' lead singer and songwriter o' country music band t' Mavericks, co-writin' many o' their singles, as well as Rick Trevino's 2003 single "In My Dreams". After t' disbandin' o' t' Mavericks in t' early 2000s, Malo pursued a solo career. Ya scallywag! He also participated from 2001 in t' Los Super Seven supergroup. Ya scallywag! T' Mavericks re-formed in 2012 and continued t' tour extensively. Avast, me proud beauty! In 2015, arrr, they won t' Americana music award for duo/group o' t' year.
