Lovedrug is a band from Alliance, Ohio. Its members are Michael Shepard (vocals, guitar, piano), Jeremy Gifford (guitar, synthesizers), me bucko, Thomas Bragg (bass), and James Childress (drums). Arrr! Shepard gave t' band its name after he left film school t' return t' his first love, music. He felt that he had been dragged back into music because o' his love o' it.
After some success on an independent label, matey, Lovedrug was signed t' Columbia Records. Gettin' overlooked durin' a shakeup at t' label, arrr, t' band asked t' be let out o' their contract and returned t' T' Militia Group t' release their next recordings. Avast!
In 2011, t' band asked their fans t' crowd-fund t' recordin' o' a new album.
