"Me and My Arrow" by Lovedrug

"Me and My Arrow" was one of the songs Lovedrug recorded for their The Best Of I Am Lovedrug album.

Lovedrug is a band from Alliance, Ohio. Its members are Michael Shepard (vocals, guitar, piano), Jeremy Gifford (guitar, synthesizers), Thomas Bragg (bass), and James Childress (drums). Shepard gave the band its name after he left film school to return to his first love, music. He felt that he had been dragged back into music because of his love of it.

After some success on an independent label, Lovedrug was signed to Columbia Records. Getting overlooked during a shakeup at the label, the band asked to be let out of their contract and returned to The Militia Group to release their next recordings.

In 2011, the band asked their fans to crowd-fund the recording of a new album.

We are thrilled to announce the I AM LOVEDRUG campaign via the internet wizardry of Pledge Music. Through this online platform, we are appealing directly to fans and friends to support the new Lovedrug album and, in exchange, offering you numerous, unprecedented Exclusives.[1]

The album "includes some serious re-imaginings of Muse and Fleetwood Mac, live takes on Michael Jackson and The Cranberries, and a Third Eye Blind track featuring guest appearance by original 3EB guitarist Kevin Cadogan." It also includes the group's cover of "Me and My Arrow."
