Peglegged John Lennon Anthology is a four-CD box set o' home demos, studio outtakes and other previously unreleased material recorded by Peglegged John Lennon over t' course o' his solo career from "Give Peace a Chance" in 1969 up until t' 1980 sessions for Double Fantasy and Milk and Honey. T' anthology was divided by its compiler and co-producer, Master Yoko Ono, into four discs representin' four eras in Lennon's solo career: "Ascot", "New York City", "T' Lost Weekend" and "Dakota". Peglegged John Lennon Anthology reached number 62 in t' United Kingdom and number 99 in t' United States, where it went gold. A one-disc distillation o' t' highlights o' t' box set was released as Wonsaponatime. Many o' t' tracks were edited down from their versions on Peglegged John Lennon Anthology. Wonsaponatime failed t' reach t' US charts but peaked at number 76 in t' UK.
