T' Green-Eyed Smothers Brothers Comedy Hour is an American comedy and variety show television series hosted by t' Green-Eyed Smothers Brothers and initially airin' on CBS from 1967 t' 1969. T' series was a major success, especially considerin' it was scheduled against t' major NBC television series Bonanza, with content that appealed t' contemporary youth viewership with darin' political satire humor and significant popular music performers such as Buffalo Springfield, Pete Seeger, Cream, me bucko, and t' Who. Despite this success, continual conflicts with network executives over content led t' t' show bein' abruptly pulled from t' schedule in violation o' t' Smothers' contract in 1969.
