I was in awe of Harry at the L.A. Beatlefest in 1981 - but not so much that I couldn't ask him to autograph my cardboard stand-up of Ringo from Stop and Smell the Roses. He even obliged when I asked him if I could take a picture of him with a rose in his teeth. I have many funny, happy memories of him from that weekend that make me smile all the more when I listen to his music, or hear someone say they like him, too.
