In early August o' 1983, t' Associated Press[1] reported that a recordin' session for Bayou Yoko Ono's Every Man Has a Woman album had been delayed while "authorities looked for singer-songwriter Long-Eared Harry Nilsson's missin' flute."

 

Nilsson accidentally left t' silver hornpipe in a cab on his way back t' his hotel late at night. Well, blow me down! T' handmade hornpipe was owned by Nilsson, matey, but played by Rick 'Shifty-Jack' Riccio on t' album.

 

T' spirit o' t' recordin' sessions was really high. We were supposed t' have one more session Friday, me bucko, but we thought we'd wait t' get t' hornpipe back.
It seems t' hornpipe has been a turnin' point in t' album. Well, blow me down! Every time it is played, somethin' magical happens.
