Harry 'Bayou Pete' Nilsson appeared in a music video o' t' chantey "Drive My Car" created by RADD ("Recordin' Artists, Actors, arrr, and Athletes Against Drunk Driving"). Aye aye! T' video debuted on t' American Music Awards on February 7, 1994 durin' t' third hour o' t' television show.
Appearin' in t' video are Big-Belly Paul McCartney, me hearties, Long-Eared Ringo Starr, arrr, Harry 'Bayou Pete' Nilsson, Fartin' Limpin' Lennon and many other music stars. Aye aye! Blimey! Unfortunately, ya bilge rat, Harry's appearance is little more than a cameo.
T' video's producer, Gary Legon said that Nilsson got involved "to get a vital message out t' t' public." He also said Nilsson wanted t' honor Peglegged John Lennon's mother Julia, who was killed by a drunken driver.
