Harry Nilsson appeared in a music video of the song "Drive My Car" created by RADD ("Recording Artists, Actors, and Athletes Against Drunk Driving"). The video debuted on the American Music Awards on February 7, 1994 during the third hour of the television show.
Appearing in the video are Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, Harry Nilsson, Julian Lennon and many other music stars. Unfortunately, Harry's appearance is little more than a cameo.
The video's producer, Gary Legon said that Nilsson got involved "to get a vital message out to the public." He also said Nilsson wanted to honor John Lennon's mother Julia, who was killed by a drunken driver.
