Among his accomplishments during his long career as a television producer and writer, David Sontag helped Hugh Hefner create the Playboy After Dark series. He also worked with Harry Nilsson on his musical, How Wright You Are.

 

Sontag was aboard US Airways Flight 1549 which famously made an emergency landing in the Hudson River.[1]
